Look! My Evo made a friend. Here is a photo dump from today's Caffeine and Octane event in Atlanta. Just a ton of cars. There was a good variety, as is the norm, and pretty much something from everyone. The pics below of the McLaren aren't so much about me liking the car, but I did love that color on it. Looked amazing in the light. There was a great selection of AMX' on hand as well.

The turn out was beyond what i thought it could be. I think i walked by your EVO, but I saw one with a black roof, and i didn't think that was yours. I also didn't see that Mclaren either. I saw the yellowish orange one though over by the Aventador.

Couldn't believe how fast it filled up today. I got there at 6:45 and the main lot was already down to about a half dozen actual marked parking spots and people were already getting creative with where to put their cars.

I was parked behind the restaraunt. Got lucky and found a spot at 8. I think the copper McLaren showed up late.

It was crazy. I've only been a few times, but I had never seen it like that.

That makes sense. I was kind of along a median over past the R32 and the giant Army Vehicle. I got there about 9 or so, and left about 10:00 or so. I had to come to work afterward, so i left a bit earlier than i would have liked to. If i can convince my wife i'll be going next month too, but most likely i won't be in my car since my son's car seat doesn't fit in the back of the mustang.

I'd say i was a bit creative with my spot, but i was backed up to another car that was there first. When i pulled in at 9:00 there was a massive blockage in the main entrance area. Police had to start directing traffic because we were all just sitting in gridlock.

Talk about a variety, yet also multiples of the same reasonably rare thing. Dang.

Yea I got my spot about 6:45 in the main lot and it was getting bad by 8am. Walking room only. Our group of GT500's got lucky. I'm the older 2009 on the right.

I think I was about one row down from you yesterday. I didn't take any pictures of my car either. It was dirty as hell and the plastidip is eaten up from when I got new tires put on. I already can't wait until next month. Nice ride btw. I like that color on it. You don't normally see GT 500s that color.

Yea the Vapor Silver wasn't really popular. In 2009 my car was 1 of only 4 vapor silver convertibles built with the red and black interior, only 12 of the vapor silver cars had a stripe delete. Unfortunately there aren't any numbers on how many of the 4 interior upgrade cars were also stripeless.
